Micro-credit schemes (MCS)

Term loans are available to tribal beneficiaries for setting up their viable Income Generating Ventures in any of the sectors viz. Industrial, Agricultural and Service Sector.

This scheme is meant to provide small loans to the eligible Scheduled Tribes members of SHGs for undertaking Income Generation Activities.

The loans are provided based on requirement of the SHGs through State Channelizing Agencies. The beneficiaries/ SHGs have to full fill the eligibility criteria of the SCAs and comply with the terms and conditions of the lending by the SCA.

Quantum of Loan Assistance a)     NSTFDC provides loan upto ₹ 50,000/- per member and maximum ₹5.00 lakh per SHG

 

b)     NSTFDC may provide upto 100% of the funds required, as loan, in case the SCAs is/are not able to provide Margin/ Money/ Subsidy.
Repeat loans Repeat Loans may be given to the Members by the SHGs. However, Repeat Loan to the SHGs, by the SCAs, shall be given only after the entire dues of earlier loan taken under NSTFDC scheme are repaid by the SHGs to SCAs and in turn by the SCAs to NSTFDC.

Repayment Period a)    For SHGs to SCAs: Loan is to be repaid by the SHGs to the SCAs, within a maximum period of 4 years, including moratorium period of 6 months.

b)    For SCAs to NSTFDC: On quarterly basis within a period of 5 years from the date of disbursement of funds by NSTFDC to SCAs including moratorium period of 6 months.

c)    For Refinance cases: Within a period of 5 years from the date of disbursement of funds and this will be linked to the repayment period fixed by the banks.
